Solidarity union ends strike at Sasol
South Africa's Solidarity union has called off a 3 day strike over wages and other grievances at the world's biggest coal to liquids producer Sasol. Solidarity said its workers would resume duties at 0400 GMT on Friday after the two parties reached a settlement.
Mr Pat Davis CEO of Sasol said that he was delighted by the decision, and committed Sasol's Secunda management to solve concerns raised by the union, and the parties agreed on a process to resolve issues.
