Currently, South Korea's demand for hot rolled coils has remained sluggish.

It's known that the Chinese steelmakers offered SS400 boron added HRC quoted at USD 595 to USD 600 per tonne CFR to South Korea currently, falling by USD 20 per tonne from the quotes in middle of June 2012.

Industry sources indicated that the South Korean buyers have taken wait and see attitude towards the market.
