Super Steel LLC announced that Mr Dirk Smith has been appointed as president and chief operating officer of the Milwaukee manufacturer. Also Mr Paul Luber will continue as CEO and chairman of the board for the company. Mr Luber previously held the title of president and CEO.

Mr Luber said that "We are extremely pleased with the addition of Mr Dirk in this key leadership role. Over the past 20 years, he has held various positions within the engineered metal manufacturing space and helped successfully grow and position several organizations. Looking forward, I have tremendous confidence in Mr Dirk's ability to implement the Super Steel growth strategy and take full advantage of our 80 plus year heritage."

Mr Smith, who had served as chief operations officer at Super Steel prior to the promotion, also has been appointed to the Super Steel board of directors.
