Tenova I2S announced that it has recently signed a contract with Olympic Steel Inc to supply a 444 & 1067 x 2134mm 4 High Temper Mill at the company's planned new site at US Steel's Gary Works plant in Gary in Indiana.

The new Tenova I2S Mill will be the third Temper Mill supplied to Olympic Steel Inc. The first two Temper Mills are located at Olympic Steel Inc facilities in Cleveland, Ohio and Bettendorf, Iowa and have been in operation for over a decade.

The new Tenova I2S Mill will be placed in a cut to length line which will produce over 150,000 tonnes per annum of high quality tempered sheet. The Tenova I2S Mill is equipped with the latest automation and control systems and includes Tenova I2S Automatic Elongation Control and I2S Thickness Gauges.

The new Tenova I2S 444 & 1067 x 2134mm 4 High Temper Mill produces high quality sheet steel from 1.0mm to 10.0mm thickness and width range of 610mm to 1900mm.
