It is reported that Taiwan's GI mills are facing a difficult situation in regard to production cost concerns, in preparing to release the November shipment price due to competitive low Chinese prices.
As per report, China's CGI price is about USD 30 to USD 50 per tonne higher than Taiwan’s HR price. China's extremely low price on CGI makes it hard for Taiwan's mills to match due to process cost on production and zinc raw material cost.
As a result, Taiwanese mills are hesitating to release their new price as they intend to first see buyers' bid prices before further negotiations on order dealing.
