
According to statistics released by Taiwan's customs, Taiwan exported 13,090 tonnes of H beams in May 2012, falling by 20% MoM from 16,000 tonnes in a month earlier.
In May 2012, Hong Kong was the largest importer of the Taiwanese H beams with 6,172 tonnes with prices of TWD 23,464 per tonne; Australia was the second largest one with 1,711 tonnes with prices of TWD 23,831 per tonne and Saudi Arabia was the third largest one with 1,654 tonnes with prices of TWD 23,234 per tonne.
Meanwhile, Taiwan imported 5,717 tonnes of H beams in May 2012, rising by 17% MoM from 4,900 tonnes in April 2012. Among them, 4,287 tonnes were from Japan and 1,421 tonnes were from South Korea.
