It is reported that Chung Hung Steel, one of the major upstream raw material suppliers for the Taiwanese steel pipe producers, is going to release its September list prices on August 24th 2012.

It is predicted that Chung Hung Steel might decrease its September 2012 list prices by USD 20 to USD 30 per tonne.

Accordingly, it's said that the Taiwanese steel pipe manufacturers may adjust the prices in accordance with Chung Hung Steel's price policy.

However, the steel pipe makers said they would negotiate prices with buyer instead of cutting prices directly to gain order since the demand has remained sluggish.
