Taiwanese distributors cut the rebar reselling prices to TWD 20,000 per tonne from TWD 20,100 per tonne last week as the upstream mills declined the prices by TWD 200 per tonne.

It is known that Feng Hsin, one of the major rebar mills in Taiwan announced to cut the rebar list prices by TWD 200 per tonne for this week.

Dealers indicated that though they decreased the rebar reselling prices this week, the demand still remained weak. They predicted that the buyers may not place order before Chinese Lunar New Year.
