
It is reported that Taiwanese re rolling steel mills have been facing high pressure in the sales in the second half of 2012 as several major steel mills in China have cut prices for July 2012.
It is said even though Yieh Phui and Sysco, the two major re rolling mills in Taiwan have cut their export prices for July 2012, buyers seem not interested in the new prices
Yieh Phui said that it only received 60% orders for July and August 2012.
In order to pass though this difficult time, both Yieh Phui and Sysco said they will increase the output of high value add products such as Galvanume products to boost the profits.
