Due to falling export offer prices, rising input cots, weak euro, the Taiwanese screw makers' sales profits have fallen in 2012.
The Taiwanese screw makers said that since the market demand and steel prices will not have the chance to go up in short term, they've seen the sales profits to drop further in the fourth quarter of 2012.
It's known that Tycoons, one of the major screw and wire product makers in Taiwan, said its July 2012 sales revenue amounted to TWD 201 million, falling by 10% from June 2012.
According to statistics, Taiwan's average export prices of screws in January 2012 were USD 2.838 per kilogram, however, it dropped to USD 2.716 per kilogram in June 2012.
