According to statistics released by the Customs, Taiwan imported 14,099 tonnes of seamless carbon steel pipes in July 2012, surging substantially by 121% MoM.

In July 2012, China was the largest exporter of seamless carbon steel pipes to Taiwan with 8,958 tonnes; France was the second largest one with 2,298 tonnes and Japan was the third largest one with 2,101 tonnes.

Meanwhile, Taiwan exported 1,738 tonnes of seamless carbon steel pipes in July 2012, rising by 32% MoM.

Dealers said that the sharply surged imports of seamless carbon steel pipes were driven by higher market demands.
