According to data released by the Taiwanese customs, Taiwan exported 1,749 tonnes of seamless steel pipes in September 2012, rising by 12% MoM.

Meanwhile, Thailand was the largest importer of the Taiwanese seamless steel pipes with 966 tonnes in September 2012 and Indonesia was the second largest one with 314 tonnes.

At the same time, the country's imports of seamless steel pipes surged by 92% MoM to 11,034 tonnes.

In September 2012, Taiwan's imports of seamless steel pipes from China totaled 7,608 tonnes; that from Japan was at 1,385 tonnes and that from Germany was at 1,018 tonnes.
