It is reported that Taiwanese steel pipe makers have cut the prices to gain order due to weak market demand.

In fact, the Taiwanese steel pipe producers remained the list prices unchanged for June 2012 in response to the upstream raw material supplier Chung Hung Steel's unchanged price policy.

However, since the market demand has remained sluggish, it's said that several steel pipe producers in Taiwan have offered a discount of TWD 300 to TWD 500 per tonne to gain orders.

Dealers said that they've been forced to cut prices to receive orders due to sluggish market.
