It is reported that Taiwanese steel pipe makers have received more orders after cut the export quotes by USD 20 to USD 30 per tonne for overseas distributors.
It's known that some of the steel pipe producers in Taiwan reduced the export quotes by USD 20 to USD 30 per tonne as they thought the upstream raw material suppliers may cut the list prices for September 2012.
Dealers said that they've received more orders after the current price cut. For instance, the received order volumes of API pipes have increase, driven by strong demand from the US market.
