Taiwanese steel wire rod prices on down ward trend

It is reported that the price of Al killed steel wire rod has reduced from TWD 25,000 per tonne to TWD 23,000 per tonne recently and may slide further if China’s wire rod price unceasingly goes down.
The current China’s Al killed wire rod price is TWD 3,000 per tonne lower than Taiwanese offer. Meanwhile, the participant forecasts that China Steel Corporation will keep its prices of wire rod and bar unchanged in December which will also cause the reduction of wire rod price.
