Takeover bid of AEE Austria by Andritz filed for approval

The takeover of insolvent machinery group AE&E Austria GmbH & Co KG by sector company Andritz AG was filed for approval with Austria's anti trust authorities on December 14th 2010.
No financial details were given but according to previous media reports the purchase price stood at around EUR 10 million. The deal was approved by the creditor committee of AE&E Austria's former parent, the also insolvent A Tec Industries AG.
