Taiwanese Tang Eng said that its received order volumes for February 2012 have exceeded 20,000 tonnes, surging by 25% MoM from 16,000 tonnes in January 2012.

It's known that Tang Eng hiked the domestic prices of 300 and 200 series stainless steel products by TWD 5,000 per tonne and TWD 900 per tonne respectively for February 2012 in response to higher nickel prices. Also, it increased the export prices by USD 40 to USD 150 per tonne averagely.

For the prospect, Tang Eng expected the good performance in the Q1 2012 if the nickel prices stabilize.
