Technip was awarded a contract by Hibernia Management and Development Company Limited for the Hibernia Southern Extension project. This project is part of the continuing Hibernia field development. Hibernia is located on the Grand Banks approximately 315 kilometers offshore Newfoundland and Labrador in approximately 90 meters of water.

The contract covers engineering, procurement and construction services for flexible flow line and steel tube umbilical, together with the installation of all sub sea equipment.

Technip's operating center in St John's, Canada will execute the contract.
