Tenaris has announced that it will be participating once again in the Argentina Oil & Gas exhibition, the main event for the local energy industry, which will take place from October 13th 2011 to October 16th 2011 at the Rural convention center in Buenos Aires.

In coming edition, Tenaris will introduce two new premium connections that broaden its range of products for demanding applications TenarisHydril Wedge 625™ and TenarisXP™ Buttress. Both were designed particularly for shales applications.

The Wedge 625™ is the first connection in a new series: the TenarisHydril Wedge Series 600™. It is designed for use in high pressure, horizontal and deep wells where a semi flush connection is needed to facilitate well construction and improve production flow.

The new TenarisXP™ Buttress connection, with its special shouldered coupling design, offers extra torque and compression resistance as well as greater make up stability than standard buttress connections.
