Terramin Australia will start drilling at its Algerian zinc project after it was granted a mining permit by the Algerian Government. The 123 square kilometers permit zone covers the 50 million tonne non JORC Tala Hamza deposit and a number of partially drilled deposits.
Dr Kevin Moriarty executive chairman of Terramin told shareholders at the company's annual meeting in May the Oued Amizour project could produce net margins of about $262 million a year as early as 2009, based on forward zinc price estimates and Company would have an inferred resource estimate under the Australian JORC standard, by September.
