ThyssenKrupp Elevator has acquired all assets in the United Elevator Company Inc, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in US.

The company, which has been successfully in operation for over 50 years on the East Coast of the United States, focuses on maintenance, repair and modernization of elevators. In addition to its corporate offices in Philadelphia, United Elevator Co. has branches in Atlantic City (New Jersey) and Wilmington (Delaware).

In line with the integrated strategic development program decided by ThyssenKrupp AG in May 2011, this acquisition is a further important step toward systematically expanding the company’s technology business.

Only a few weeks ago ThyssenKrupp Elevator announced the acquisition of General Elevator Sales and Service, another excellent service provider in the state of Florida.
