It is reported that Japanese Tokyo Steel announced has cut the scrap purchasing prices by JPY 1,000 per tonne at its five works from August 29th 2012.

After the adjustment, the H2 scrap purchasing prices are at JPY 27,000 to JPY 29,000 per tonne averagely.

Among them, the H2 scrap purchasing p prices in Okayama plant is at JPY 28,500 to JPY 29,000 per tonne; that in Kyushu plant is at JPY 28,500 per tonne; that in Tahara plant is at JPY 28,000 per tonne; that in Utsunomiya plant is at JPY 28,000 per tonne and that in Takamatsu steel center is at JPY 27,000 per tonne.
