Nikkei reported that Toyota Motor Corporation' automobile production, which has been slowed by the severe flooding in Thailand, will return to normal with the exception of the Southeast Asian nation and South Africa.
The automaker said that it will end production cuts in place in Indonesia and Malaysia now that it has prospects for procuring parts from alternative sources.
As a result of the floods, Toyota's production had declined by about 65,000 units in Japan and roughly 120,000 vehicles in Thailand as of November 25th 2011. The disaster has pushed down its global output by about 215,000 units.
