Triad Metals International announced that it's 175,000 square feet warehouse, sales office and processing facility in Columbia City, IN is now complete.
The facility includes six acres of outdoor lay down yard in Columbia City, IN.
Triad’s state of the art, long products hot rolled processing facility includes the following equipment
1. Four Zenar double trolley, digitally & inverter driven 12.5 ton class E cranes.
2. Taylor TX360L with 36,000# lift capacity
3. Behringer HBM - 540A Automatic Band Saw with 22,800# load capacity material handling system to include 50’ in / 50’ out conveyors with lift and carry system for ease of loading and unloading to the saw. System includes CNC measuring device to insure accuracy in cutting.
4. Behringer HBP - 800/1201 Semi-Automatic Horizontal Band Saw with 44,960 # load capacity material handling system to include 70’ in / 70’ out conveyors with lift and carry system for ease of loading and unloading to the saw. System includes CNC measuring device to insure accuracy in cutting.
5. LL Brown Beam Splitter to split and straighten wide flange beams into T’s. Has the capacity to cut 40" widths, 60' lengths, and a web thickness of 9/16"
6. Peddinghaus Bay Lynx Camber Cat BC900 Camber Machine with a fully integrated material handling system with a capacity to camber 36 x 210 in grade A36.
7. Six Tractor (Kenworth / Peterbuilt) and ten aluminum trailers for high capacity loading.
Triad's Columbia City plant employs approximately35 people. Rail siding has been integrated to insure cheapest available inbound freight rates. Each bay measures 110’ wide x 750’ long to accommodate seventy foot long wide flange beams and structural channel.
