It is reported that Taiwan's Tycoons Corporation is planning to import cold drawn materials from Thailand due to strong demand coupled with a shortage of materials in the market.

As per report, the company is expecting to use its own materials advantage in order to gain marketing share. Due to Chain Steel Corporation's furnace undergoing temporary maintenance a shortage of wire rod materials is affecting supply and demand in the domestic market.

In fact, the wire rod price is likely to follow a rising trend in Thailand’s and Taiwan’s markets. However, Taiwan’s wire rod price is increasing a lot compared to previous price levels.

It will be a great opportunity to import cold drawn materials from Thailand to earn a better profit margin for the company itself. The company said that Tycoons has not decided upon the quantity of imports yet and it will wait until the CSC announces new prices before making its decision.
