Evansville Courier & Press reported that UCI FRAM Group has announced the appointment of Mr J Brett McBrayer as president of its Fairfield based Airtex fuel delivery business and its cooling systems business located in North Canton in Ohio.

Mr McBrayer has more than 20 years of business and manufacturing experience, both in the US and internationally. He comes to UCI FRAM Group from Rio Tinto Alcan, where he served as vice president and general manager of the Alcan Cable business. Prior to joining Rio Tinto Alcan, he was VP and general manager of the special metals division of Precision Castparts Corporation and before that was with Alcoa Inc.

At Airtex Products, Mr McBrayer will succeed Mr Dimitri Monge, who announced his retirement as of the end of 2012.

In January 2012, UCI FRAM moved its corporate headquarters from Evansville to the Chicago suburb of Lake Forest.
