It is reported that members of USW Local 1375 anxiously are awaiting news about the fate of Warren's RG Steel plant and its proposed sale to CJ Betters Enterprises expected to be discussed in a bankruptcy courtroom.
CJ Betters Enterprises, a Pennsylvania based company, was named last week as the apparent winner of the auction to purchase the Warren plant. Betters bid USD 17 million, but also received a USD 1 million consideration because the company promised to work to reopen the facility.
Mr Charles Betters, founder and operator of CJ Betters Enterprises, said he plans to look at every avenue available to reopen the plant.
