US DOC announces AD results for wire rod from Trinidad and Tobago

On February 25th 2010, the US Department of Commerce has announced the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review for carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Trinidad and Tobago, making no changes in the margin calculated in the preliminary ruling.

US DOC came to the conclusion that for respondents ArcelorMittal Point Lisas Limited and its affiliate ArcelorMittal International America LLC, the only concerned party for the review, an AD margin of 23.95% should be imposed, the same margin as in the preliminary finding.

The period of the review was October 1st 2007, through September 30th 2008 and the preliminary results were issued on November 9th 2009.

The petitioners in the case were ISG Georgetown Inc, Nucor Steel Connecticut Inc, Keystone Consolidated Industries Inc and Rocky Mountain Steel Mills.
