It is reported that Taiwan's scrap import market stopped falling further last week.

Last week, the transaction prices of the US container HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Taiwan were at USD 375 to USD 378 per tonne CNF, remaining flat from a week ago.

Traders indicated that the US scrap export prices to the Asian market have been rebounding recently.

At present, the quotes of the US container HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Taiwan has increased to USD 380 per tonne CNF, up by USD 5 per tonne from a week earlier.
