It is reported that the quotes of the US container HMS 80:20 to steel mills in southern Taiwan have continued to dip to USD 420 per tonne C&F.

It is said that the steel mills in southern Taiwan would purchase the US scrap with prices of USD 420 per tonne CNF.

In fact, the US scrap prices had ever surged to USD 453 per tonne CNF; however, it started to drop after the New Year.

Last week, the transaction prices of the US HMS 80:20 to Taiwan were at USD 425 to USD 435 per tonne CNF.
