It is reported that the US offered the container HMS 80:20 and shredded scrap quoted at USD 400 per tonne CNF and USD 405 per tonne CNF respectively to Taiwan this week, remained flat from a week earlier.

However, the scrap supply has been decreasing as it has become more difficult to collect the scrap resources by the coming of winter. Dealers analyzed that the scrap prices may be supported by the shortage of scrap and the price hike for steel flat products made by some US steel mills.
