
Reportedly, the US scrap export quotes to Taiwan have continued falling this week.
It's learned that a large-scale scrap supplier in the US offered the HSM 80:20 (1&2) and shredded scrap quoted at USD 338 per tonne CNF and USD 345 per tonne CNF to Taiwan this week, falling by USD 7 per tonne from a week ego.
Industry sources said that the actual selling prices of the US scrap to Taiwan would be at USD 335 to USD 342 per tonne CNF, which are unfavorable to the Taiwanese steel mills.
It is said that the Taiwanese steel mills set the target prices at USD 330 to USD 337 per tonne CNF.
