On August 2nd 2007, a massive fire destroyed a 160,000 square feet family owned manufacturing facility in Keystone Foam of Derry, a small town east of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. One hundred firefighters from 12 fire companies in Westmoreland County battled the blaze. Though the fire destroyed the building and its contents, no one was injured and the company rapidly set up a temporary workplace within weeks of the disaster.
The first thing the company did was contact Olympia Steel Buildings.
Mr Arnold Davis president of Universal Steel Buildings Corporation, sole supplier of Olympia Steel Buildings, said that "The owners of Keystone Foam were eager to re build. They were counting on Olympia Steel Buildings for fast service and the right price on a pre engineered steel building to replace their lost industrial manufacturing plant in the rush to rebuild their facility."
Olympia Steel Buildings prides itself in meeting customer needs with quality materials and outstanding customer service and Olympia's pre engineered steel buildings and metal buildings systems with their clear span interiors are a perfect fit for industrial use.
Mr Davis added that "Our steel building designers and metal buildings engineers listened to their needs and worked with them every step of the way to ensure their new building would be exactly what the business required. The new industrial steel building went up quickly, constructed on the original building site and the owners were pleased to see their manufacturing business up and running again at full capacity."
