Vietnamese Prime Minister Mr Nguyen Tan Dung has stated at a meeting at the country's foreign affairs ministry that the ministry needs to contribute to the promotion of Vietnam's exports and also to help attract more foreign investments.

He added that, in terms of attracting foreign investment, Vietnam would focus on high tech projects and enterprises, instead of calling for investments in the steel, cement and textile industries. He said that only in this way will Vietnam be able to achieve the transformation of its economic structure.
