Mr Goodluck Jonathan President of Nigeria said that the Vision 20:2020 of the Federal Government will not be realized unless the iron and steel sub sector is developed.
According to him, the nation's economy will be easily stimulated if steel industries such as the Ajaokuta Steel Complex and Itakpe Iron and Steel Company were fully developed. The president added that if elected, he would concentrate on various projects that would stimulate the economy.
He pledged to address the challenges facing the energy and power sector and explore the natural resources in Kogi State to transform the nation's economy.
