Local media reported that two foreign companies, Brazil's Votorantim, and Korea's Daewoo, are interested in acquiring three factories of the Industrial Group Alfonso Gallardo.

As per report, this development took place after CSN of Brazil decided to break the purchase agreement with the Gallardo.

Specifically, Votorantim and Daewoo will be interested in acquiring the German steel profiles Sthalwerk Thüringen, Balboa Cement plant in Alconera (Badajoz) and Papresa newsprint plant, located in Rentería (Guipúzcoa).
