It’s reported Taiwan's LCD panel industry has become weak recently due to changeable 3C industries. As a result, it caused China Steel Corp and Yieh Phui’s sales volumes decrease a lot.

It’s known that the designed annual capacity of CSC's EG production line is about 325,000 tonnes and CSC's monthly output in average is about 25,000 tonnes; however, the company's current capacity utilization of its EG products are only about 60% to 70% due to the weaken demand from users.

Also, Yieh Phui used to supply the HGI products to Foxconn Technology Group for computer cases production; however, the company only received 50% orders from Foxconn Technology group. Thus, CSC and Yieh Phui are now looking for new opportunities for their coating steel product sales.
