Because of the unclear steel market situation, most buyers have taken wait and see attitude toward the market. Consequently, it has caused Yieh Hsing's sales stop growing in April 2011.

Yieh Hsing's April sales were posted at TWD 977 million, dropped by 10.83% from the same period of 2010 and decreased by 9.48% from March. Also, it was the first drop since January 2011.

Also, it is analyzed that the decreasing nickel prices were to other main reason to depress Yieh Hsing's sales.

For the prospect, the company's May sales were predicted to stay at the same level of April 2011 due to weak demand and its annual maintenance schedule.
