According to the general manager of Yieh Phui said during the meeting with the company's shareholders, Yieh Phui, one of the major coating steel mills in Taiwan expected that China Steel Corporation could cut the domestic prices for September 2012 in order to pass through the current tough market situation.
It's known that CSC remained its list prices flat for July and August 2012 deliveries.
Also, the general manager indicated that about 80% of Yieh Phui's sales revenues were from export markets. Therefore, the firm's sales revenue may be impacted by the continuously appreciated New Taiwanese Dollar.
