Reuters quoted Mr Wolfgang Eder CEO of Austrian steel group voestalpine as saying that it plans a bond issue soon.

He added that "The road show is under way. I think the environment is absolutely favorable, sentiment is good, so let's see what happens."

voestalpine had floated plans to issue as much as EUR 1 billion in bonds in 2012, but Mr Eder said it did not need that much money at the moment. He added that "The billion was a preliminary figure. You should not conclude that we would raise 1 billion in one fell swoop."
