Mr Laurent Schmitt CEO of Alba said that Bahrain's youth are the leaders of tomorrow and their decisions will impact the economic and industrial growth of the country.

Mr Schmitt said as he welcomed a group of students from inJAz Bahrain for 2 week Company' internship program that "Bahrain's future growth depends upon the investments we make in the youth of today."

Alba's backing for this initiative enables young Bahrainis to acquire well informed understanding of the work environment. The students are being placed in different departments across the organization throughout the 2 week internship program.

During their time in Alba, they are expected to learn about each department's responsibilities, gain insights into day to day operations, learn how challenges if any are overcome and how departmental goals are tied up with organizational goals.

Alba is one of a select group of companies that is part of inJAz Bahrain's Company' internship program. It allows young students the opportunity of gaining exposure to work environment in leading companies in Bahrain and learn first hand of their success stories.

Mr Schmitt said that "We are proud of the work inJAz Bahrain is doing in making all of this possible and in ensuring that today's students emerge as tomorrow's leaders."

inJAz Bahrain was established in 2005 as a non profit organization dedicated to developing young peoples' understanding of the economy and how business operates. It receives support from the private sector both financially and through active involvement of volunteers in delivering its programs.

Alba has been a consistent supporter of inJAz Bahrain whose programs reach more than 8,000 students every academic year. Alba has been consistently ranked as one of the largest aluminum smelters in the world and is known for its technological strength, global competitiveness and innovative policies.
