Aleris has announced that the company will invest USD 70 million to construct a cold rolling facility at its Duffel plant in Belgium to expand the production capacity to supply the wide aluminum plate to automobile industry.

It’s known that the new cold rolling mill along with its existing production capacity will enhance its flexibility to produce the aluminum plate with the width of 2,200 mm.

Mr Roeland Baan the executive VP and President of Aleris Europe indicated that the company expected to meet the rising demand from aluminum plate from automobile industry through the completion of the new investment.
