Mining Australia reported that Argonaut Resources will commence exploration work targeting additional deposits near its Kroombit zinc copper deposit in Central Queensland on August 17th 2009.

The exploration program will be undertaken by Geo Discovery Group.

The company said that the Phase-I will involve a field appraisal of 27 previously recorded small scale historical mines, exploration prospects and mineral occurrences.
