
GMA News TV quoted Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corporation as saying that its ninth shipment of copper concentrates has already been sent to Qingdao in China.
Atlas said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange that approximately 5,574.081 wet metric tonnes of copper concentrate were loaded onto the MV Bizan at the Sangi Port.
The company said that worth USD 5,889.40 per tonne, the shipment contains 28.55% of copper, 2.38 grams of gold per tonne and 26.15 grams of silver per tonne.
The shipment came from a copper mine in Toledo City which is run by Carmen Copper Corporation the company’s subsidiary. The shipment forms part of the CCC’s off take Agreement with MRI Trading AG. Ever since operations began, CCC has already exported 48,650.491 of copper concentrates.
The company said that another 5,500 wet metric tonnes are expected to be shipped before the end of September
