Aziana has discovered a new zone of copper, gold, silver and molybdenum mineralization at its Anosivola Hill tenement in south central Madagascar.

The new zone was discovered by mapping and sampling on the eastern slope of Anosivola Hill within the intrusive diorites about 600 meters east of the previously sampled and reported marble associated mineralization

Notable assays from rock chips and trench samples include 23.96 grams per tonne gold and 0.21% copper over 0.5 meters and 3.15 grams per tonne gold, 7.9% copper and 0.27% molybdenum over 1 meter.

The overall identified surface mineralized zone is now a potentially large 1 square kilometer, near surface copper, gold, silver and molybdenum zone, centered on the diorite intrusion. The surface mineralization is open along strike and has never been tested at depth. This increases the scope of the Anosivola Hill mineralization and supports the company’s interpretation that it could signal a larger scale copper and gold related system.

Regional mapping, trenching and soil sampling programs are progressing to define the extent and character of the copper and gold mineralization at the Anosivola Project.

Aziana plans to carry out ground geophysical surveys and possible follow up drilling in the Q2 of 2013. The company is trading just above cash backing with USD 6.08 million or USD 0.054 per share in cash as of December 31st 2012 compared to a market capitalization of USD 7.74 million and a current share price of USD 0.069.
