CapitalVue reported that Aluminum Corporation of China posted 127.8% YoY increase in H1 2011 profit or 75.6% of its full year 2011 target.

Sales revenue rose 10.9% accounting for 52.4% of its 2011 target. Output of nonferrous metals increased 0.3% YoY.

The company did not disclose the exact earnings numbers. It said that the copper, engineering and trading businesses exceeded its profit targets while its rare earth business returned to profit.
