Chile raises 2012 copper price forecast
Bloomberg reported that Chile raised its forecast for average copper prices in 2012 to USD 3.85 per pound because of higher demand from China.
Mr Hernan de Solminihac mining minister of Chile said that the Chilean government’s copper commission known as Cochilco raised the forecast from USD 3.50 per pound after prices rose in January.
