China Knowledge quoted National Bureau of Statistics said China, the world largest copper consumer, produced 518,000 metric tons of copper last month up by 11.6%YoY.

In the first half of this year, the country's copper output amounted to 2.92 million tonnes up by 10.3% YoY.

China imports of unwrought copper and copper products totaled 2.5 million tonnes in the first six months up by 47%YoY.
