
Bloomberg reported that China reduced export quotas for silver, tin and minor metals.
According to the ministry, the country may export a maximum of 5,387 tonnes of silver next year compared with 5,670 tonnes this year and that for tin at 18,000 tonnes down from 18,900 tonnes in 2011.
The limits for tungsten, antimony, molybdenum and indium were imposed at 15,400 tonnes, 59,400 tonnes, 25,000 tonnes and 231 tonnes, respectively. This compares with 15,700 tonnes, 60,300 tonnes, 25,500 tonnes and 233 tonnes this year.
