Chinese zinc imports at 29 month high

Data from the General Administration of Customs showed that zinc imports by China, the largest user, surged to 54,118 metric tonnes in December, the highest since July 2009.
According to the customs, the arrivals more than doubled from 25,649 tonnes in November and surged 53% from a year ago.
